U.S. stock futures fell in premarket trading on Friday as cooling AI sentiment weighed on tech stocks and put the major indexes on track to post weekly losses.

The stock market fell again on Thursday as Wall Street continued to sell riskier technology and consumer discretionary stocks in the wake of some weaker labor market data. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 397 points, or 0.8%. The S&P 500 was down 1.1%. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.9%.

Dow Inc. has restarted two polyethylene resin lines at its Freeport, Texas, site following an Oct. 6 fire, while a third line remains under evaluation. The site represents nearly half of the company's domestic polyethylene output.
